Did you know the first five years of life are most crucial for development? These days of sleep deprivation and busyness can be overwhelming. There are so many books and resources to listen to or watch but so little time. Allow us to help you navigate some of these resources! Come join our weekly hour-long gatherings to meet other parents and listen to an expert discuss various topics, such as vision development, sleep training, feeding, and more.
We recognize the crucial link between vision and learning. Did you know our visual system is not ready for a lot of tasks required of school-aged kids, such as reading until age 6 or 7? Yet we’re pushing kids to read at kindergarten. These classes will help provide students with the visual support for visual tasks, such as navigating the lunch room, and building the skills needed to succeed in the classroom. Watch for Kindergarten Readiness and Writers Workshops!
For individuals with traumatic brain injuries (TBI), we offer group sessions that focus on vision rehabilitation. These sessions are designed to support recovery and improve visual function through targeted exercises and therapies. Having worked with TBI patients since 2013, Dr. Yeung recognizes patients benefit from individualized therapy but some patients are so symptomatic, they are unable to get the most out of their individual sessions. The goal of these classes are to help individuals get well enough to attend individualized therapy at a lower cost, as well as receive support from others who may be experiencing similar symptoms.
